Recruiter

Show the work behind your application — not just the claims.

We launched Recruiter to help build trust back into hiring. Our first product, Proof, lets candidates showcase real work: portfolios, samples, video walkthroughs. If a recruiter has requested Proof from you, you can respond in about 20 minutes.

If you're just curious how it works, here's exactly what to expect.

Why this exists

CVs and interviews rarely show what you actually did. This gives you a way to prove it — before the interview, not during it.

What it takes
01
Review the requirements
The recruiter's role requirements are already loaded — no guessing what to include or how long to write.
02
Add your evidence
A document, a diagram, a past project, or a short video walkthrough if that's easier. Text alone is fine too.
03
Send it privately
Only the recruiter who requested it can see it. Nothing is public, ever. Access expires automatically.
What you'll see

Three short prompts and an optional evidence area. That's all there is to it.

You decide what goes in. You can leave a requirement blank if you'd rather not answer it.

Why bother

You're not obligated to respond. But candidates who do get noticed faster — because recruiters can see exactly how you fit, instead of guessing from a CV.

A recruiter reviewing ten identical CVs will spend three minutes on each. A recruiter who has your structured evidence against their own requirements will spend fifteen — and know considerably more at the end of it.

Common questions
Do I have to do this?

No. Responding to a Proof request is completely optional. You can ignore it, decline it, or leave some requirements blank. There is no penalty for not responding.

Can my current employer see this?

No. Your response goes only to the recruiter or hiring team who sent the request. It is never shared with third parties, indexed, or made publicly visible.

What if I don't have much evidence for a requirement?

That's fine. You can describe relevant experience in plain text even if you don't have a document to attach. You can also leave a requirement blank if you'd rather not answer it — partial responses are accepted.

Is this a video interview?

No. You can record a short video walkthrough or a voice note if that's easier, but it's completely optional. Most people respond entirely in text.

What happens to my information after I apply?

Your response is retained only for the duration of the hiring process and then deleted. You can also request deletion at any time. We hold no persistent profile of you.
